My company spends a large proportion of our revenue on flights and hotels to send our agents out to meet our clients. Not only is there a massive cost involved, I've also lost an employee for the two days of travel that a return trip entails. As the PA to the MD I had to arrange alot of these, and the boss asked me to also look into trying out online meetings. I had a look around the market, and GoToMeeting looked like the easiest to install, as well as offering a good price. We tried out the free trial for 30 days, and tried it with our clients who were fairly tech savvy. We were pleased to encounter no problems, sound and video quality was excellent, and set up was simple. After this we invested in the annual plan, at just under $500 it worked out as less than a return flight.

We've had to help out some of our less tech savvy clients with the initial install, but set up never takes more than about twenty minutes which most people are happy with. Of course, nothing replaces shaking hands on a contract, but we can host unlimited meetings with our clients, without them needing to spend a cent. Overall, you could say I've been pretty pleased with the cost :)
